Dummy Ticket with a Valid PNR

The PNR is the whole document. A dummy ticket without a live PNR is a picture of a ticket, and consulates check.

What a valid PNR means

A PNR — the six-character booking reference — exists inside the airline’s reservation system. When the seat is genuinely held, that reference returns your itinerary on the airline’s own Manage Booking page. Anyone can type it in: you, a visa officer, a check-in agent.

How to check yours before you submit it

  1. Open the airline’s website and find Manage Booking or My Trips
  2. Enter the PNR and the surname exactly as printed on the reservation
  3. Confirm the flight, date and passenger name match your document

If that lookup fails, do not submit the document. A reservation that cannot be verified is worse than no reservation, because it turns a paperwork question into a credibility question.

How ours works

We hold a real seat with the airline and send the reservation only once the PNR exists — no PNR, no email. The document carries the airline’s reference, not one we invented, which is why the lookup above works.

The honest limit

A held PNR is a reservation, not a purchased ticket, and it expires. Verification confirms the booking exists; it does not turn it into a flown ticket. If your consulate specifically requires a paid ticket, a reservation is not what they are asking for.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I check if a dummy ticket PNR is real?
Enter the PNR and surname on the airline’s own Manage Booking page. A genuine hold returns the itinerary. If nothing comes back, the document is not backed by a reservation.
Will the embassy be able to verify it?
Yes — that is the point. The PNR is the airline’s own reference and resolves on the airline’s site, which is exactly what a visa officer checks.
Does a valid PNR mean the ticket is paid?
No. It means the seat is held. A hold and a purchased ticket are different things, and the reservation shows as a booking rather than as a flown ticket.
What if the PNR stops working?
Holds expire by design. If the validity window has passed the PNR will no longer return the booking, which is why the reservation should be timed to your appointment.

Smooth group booking for 22 colleagues
We booked a 22-seat corporate group fare with Airline Group Booking. Seats were held on a small deposit and we submitted passenger names later — far cheaper and less stressful than buying 22 individual tickets.

Perfect for our wedding party
We had 40 guests flying to Goa for the wedding. The team negotiated a great group fare and gave us one combined invoice. Someone was reachable 24x7 whenever we had a change.

Saved on our school tour
Organised a student group of 35 to Jaipur. The fare stayed locked even when live prices went up, and name changes were handled without any fuss. Very useful for a school budget.

Held fare, flexible names
Loved that we could hold the seats first and confirm names later. They made a complex 18-person multi-city itinerary feel simple.

Best option for our conference delegates
Booked 60 delegates across two cities for an annual conference. One point of contact, group discounts and consolidated billing made my job so much easier.
