IndiGo group booking is governed by specific terms and conditions that differ from individual ticket rules. Understanding these before you book helps avoid unexpected charges.

Minimum group size

Minimum 10 passengers on the same flight and travel date.

Deposit and payment

  • Deposit: 25–35% of total group fare at confirmation.
  • Balance due: 30 days before departure (45 days for peak season).
  • Full payment required before names are submitted and tickets issued.

Name submission

  • Passenger names must be submitted at least 7 days before departure.
  • Names can be changed or added until 14 days before travel at no charge.
  • Name changes after the 14-day deadline may attract a fee per passenger.

Cancellation policy

  • Cancellations made 45+ days before departure: deposit forfeited, remaining fare refunded.
  • Cancellations 30–44 days before departure: 50% of total fare forfeited.
  • Cancellations within 30 days: 100% forfeiture (no refund).
  • Partial cancellations: minimum group size (10 pax) must be maintained.

Date and flight changes

  • Date changes are subject to availability and fare difference.
  • Change fees apply per passenger per sector.
  • Upgrades from Economy to Business Class are not permitted on group fares.

No-show policy

  • No-show passengers forfeit their fare in full.
  • No refund is available for no-shows on group bookings.

Baggage allowance

  • Group fares include standard IndiGo cabin baggage (7 kg).
  • Check-in baggage must be purchased separately — 15 kg or 20 kg add-on.
  • All passengers in the group must have the same baggage add-on (booked together).
